The following is a brief description from the Baitin’ the Shark Gravel Road Race promoter:
This isn’t no boy scout picnic. Half gravel, half tarmac. The early season weather may be glorious or treacherous. It all comes down to you, your equipment, the road, and that voice that says, “it’s too hard, I want to go home.” But we know you’ve got the courage (or insanity) not to admit when you’ve had enough. So smile, you son of a bitch!
