The following is a brief description from the McLain Farm Adventure Race Event promoter:
Welcome to the new home of McLain Farm, now called the McLain Farm Adventure Race. 2023 is going to bring changes to the race, and we think you are going to love it. Don’t worry it’s still the farm, with all the hills, hollers, creek bottoms, and grueling climbs that you love to hate. Why McLain Farm Adventure Race? This race has always been about adventure, testing yourself, and seeing if you can make it to that finish. Everyone loves a podium spot, but what sets this race apart has always been that if you enter, toe the line, and make it to the finish you know you have accomplished something hard. It’s the kind of event that you will have to talk yourself out of quitting when you make an aid station, you will ask yourself how you got into this; but at the end you will be swapping stories with riding buddies old and new. And that is the mark of a great adventure. Welcome back to the farm, adventure is calling!
