Trading in the cycling shoes for work boots on Saturday AM to be a part of Forbes State Forest’s volunteer team completing various projects on Laurel Mountain. We get to enjoy so many of the fruits of the forest that it is nice to give back some time to conserve, maintain, and improve it for the future.
To the extent that you are local or in the area and have some time, consider joining in the efforts. Learn more or sign up to be a PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Conservation Volunteer. Can’t make it on 6/3? There are additional work days on 6/24 and 9/23.
