The following is a brief description from the Gravel Locos – Colorado Event promoter. Check out the Gravel Locos website linked below for current details.
With 300 days of sunshine annually and a consistently mild climate, Pueblo is a great place to enjoy an outstanding quality of life. Colorado’s most historic and culturally diverse city boasts year-round outdoor activities, celebrated and varied dining options, one of only 12 state designated creative arts districts, and exceptional business opportunities.
The City of Pueblo is also known as the “Home of Heroes”. This moniker was in a speech in 1993 by then Colorado Representative Scott McInnis as he spoke to Congress about the uniqueness of a city Pueblo’s size having a record four recipients of the Medal of Honor claiming Pueblo as their hometown.
