The following are brief snippets from the Robidoux Rendezvous, f/k/a Robidoux Quick & Dirty Event promoter:

The Robidoux…

…began in 2015 as a way to showcase the unsung gravel terrain that flows through the Wildcat Hills of Scotts Bluff County. Shortly after the formation of the Western Nebraska Bicycle Club, the crew began work on a local gravel event. The idea to raise awareness of the cycling opportunities in the area was at the forefront and the Robidoux Quick & Dirty was born in the heart of Oregon Trail Country.

The first event was a success, by all accounts, and influenced both returning and new riders in years to come. The fickle weather of the western states damped the spirits of the RQD in both 2017 and 2018, with the race in 2018 being cancelled due to closed roads in Scotts Bluff County. 2019 was a year to remember as the crew rallied together in the comeback of all comebacks to jumpstart the momentum that the RQD sees today. Despite the challenges in 2020, we saw pro level riders, national media and sponsors, and most importantly zero covid cases associated with the event!

After a banner year in 2021 with racing back in full swing, we decided a new chapter of Robidoux was destined to be written, and the event now goes by the name of Robidoux Rendezvous!
