The following is a brief description from a past ROJR – Ride on Jeremy’s Ride:
The ROJR is a “gentleman’s race,” and spans several counties that offer some of the best gravel roads in the state. You will meander past scenic farms, through shady glens and into areas so dense and deserted you will be sure you took a wrong turn! To finish this route, trust your GPS. Keep a close eye on the weather as well as we’ve seen sleet and 70’s for this event. October weather is uncertain if anything.
The ROJR 65 can be done as an individual event or as a team of four. There will be several challenges along the way for time bonuses.
The ride honors the life of Jeremy Grimm. Grimm was a Cat I racer who lost his life in 2017 in a bicycle/truck accident. He left a wife and two daughters.
